THEY ALL CATCH FISH!
Find out when, why and how?

THE SLAMMER

Slammer: The most streamline, fastest falling and versatile jig in the JOKER range. The one to go for in more challenging conditions!

WHICH STYLE?

The most streamline, fastest falling and versatile jig in the JOKER range.

It provides long slides, flat falls and light flutters.

Highly versatile, a true ‘mixed pitch’ jig, practical, easy to use and a close partner to the Cobra jig.

Ideal for working up through the water quickly like a ‘speed jig’.

WHEN & WHY?

It’s streamline shape gets it down fast and it’ll hold vertical under the rod tip for longer, your best bet when fishing in tougher conditions and when the boats getting moved off it’s natural drift.

The larger sizes in this range are great in the deeper water found in Scotland, Norway and other worldwide destinations.

HOW?

Highly versatile, it can be fished fast, medium or slow and with long, medium or short pitches of the rod!

When fished with long fast pitches it swerves and slides long distances.

After long slower lifts it will often slide backwards and sideways and then falls flat with a slight flutter.

OPTIONS?

Available in 80g, 100g, 130g, 170g, 200g, 250g and 300g.

Available in 5 colour patterns: Acid Orange, Blue and Pink, Cotton Candy, Pink Silver Glow, Black Mack.

THE COBRA

Cobra: Very similar actions and benefits to that of the Slammer, but with a bit more flutter and flash!

WHICH STYLE?

A close 2nd to the Slammer for it’s streamline quick dropping profile.

Also a highly versatile ‘mixed pitch’ jig but with a little more drag and rod loading, so slightly less smooth on the long fast lifts.

Very similar actions to the Slammer but with a bit more flutter.

WHEN & WHY?

Useful at any time but great in the more challenging conditions as it’s streamline and it gets down fast.

The slightly wider mid section and under belly create a little drag but also add to the flutter and hang time making it a good choice when you need a bit more vibe and flash.

HOW TO FISH?

Great for ‘mixed pitch’ jigging, with slow and medium/fast pitches but can feel a little ‘stiff’ through the water when pitched too fast.

It’s great for fishing up through the water column with short sharp pitches as well as ‘nice and slow’ along the bottom. Long lifts and falls allow for some good slides, flat falls and flutters.

OPTIONS?

Available in 100g, 120g, 150g and 180g.

Available in 5 colour patterns: Blue Head Lime, Orange Shadow, Blue and Pink, Cotton Candy, Black Mack.

THE IMP

Imp: An excellent profile providing a smaller bite size chunk to the more fussy fish. With a short slide and good flutter action!

WHICH STYLE?

Shorter and wider than the Slammer and Cobra but still fairly streamline.

A more typical slow pitch profile providing a smaller bite size chunk to the more fussy fish.

It’s drop in speed is slower and loads the rod slightly more but it has an excellent flutter.

WHEN & WHY?

It’s benefits are it’s chompable size and excellent flutter and short slides.

The downside is, it’ll stream away from you a bit more quickly in tougher conditions, therefore it’s useage is more on the easier days without too much breeze.

HOW TO FISH?

It’s less of a ‘mixed pitch’ jig and more of a slow jig so it’s shorter rhythms and long slow lifts and little twitches that get the most hits. However, it will work up through the water column well with short fast pitches.

It’s similar to the Mayhem jig so avoid using the long fast lifts.

OPTIONS?

Available in 80g, 100g, 120g, and 150g

Available in 5 colours: Acid Orange, Pink Silver Gold, Blue Head Lime, Cotton Candy, Blue and Pink.

THE MAYHEM

Mayhem: The least streamline of the current JOKER range but it produces the most intense of flutters. Deadly for bass!

WHICH STYLE?

The least streamline of the current JOKER range but it produces the most intense of flutters.

Due to its anglular shape and blunt head it loads the rod a lot for it’s weight and only punches and slides short distances.

The plus sides, it’ll swerve and dart erratically and drop back with the best flutter you’ll find anywhere.

WHEN & WHY?

We’ve found the Mayhem so good that the weight range has been quickly expanded so we can use it more often!

Best on easier days when the boats not getting pushed of it’s drift.

The reason you’ll use this jig is for its bite sized profile and excellent flutter, both are key when fish like bass are not feeding hard. This jig will get hits when live bait is stuggling!

HOW TO FISH?

Very similar to the IMP, so medium and long slow lifts and fall backs followed by little twitches get the best results.

If fish are present and need more encouragement, it works well with short quick pitches up through the water column.

It’s the best bass jig I know of and ALL the JOKER jigs will catch bass!

OPTIONS?
